A Gala Concert featuring the “TSUNAMI Violin” revived from columns and driftwood of houses leveled by the 2011 East Japan Earthquake Disaster, inviting talented artists from the world of Classical Music as well as artists in relation to the TSUNAMI Violin, will be organized to pray for the Recovery. Further, during the concert, “The Story of TSUNAMI Violin” will be showed with the live performance of Sand Art Group SILT.
【Information on the cancellation of the event】
We sincerely regret to inform you that due to the contamination of COVID-19 spreading nationwide, and as a result of our discussions with each related party, the decision was made to cancel the “Gala TOKYO Concert for the Recovery of Sanriku” on Wednesday, September 8th, as our first priority is to preserve the health and safety of the public. We also apologize to everybody who was looking forward to this concert, for having been forced to cancel the event in such manner, and thank you in advance for your kind understanding.
